Swanky hotel with rooftop plunge pool

An absolutely gorgeous hotel! The rooftop terrace with its small plunge pool was a fantastic spot to relax with a bottle of wine. The breakfast had a great variety of foods and the staff was always helpful. My room had a luxurious bathroom with Rituals toiletries. Just be cautious of potential noise from the street.

Spacious rooms with excellent amenities.

During my stay, I felt that the reception service was lacking. The breakfast options were disappointingly limited, especially for a hotel of this caliber. Additionally, I noticed that the rooms were relatively small for the price, which was quite underwhelming compared to other options I've stayed in.

We loved exploring the Salamanca neighborhood with its lively streets like Goya and Velázquez, perfect for a family stroll. The hotel room was spacious, accommodating my brother and our family comfortably, and the breakfast spread was simply delightful.

For dads, it would be great to have a kids' play area.

The Deluxe Double room was comfy with a huge bed. I loved the free water and tea-coffee setup. But it was definitely smaller than expected, felt kinda cramped. The soundproofing wasn't great either. I could hear everything from the hallway. But overall, the cleanliness and style were on point.

However, being stuck in the lift was a stressful experience, and the basic tea and coffee setup felt underwhelming for a five-star establishment. Dining options were limited on weekends nearby, which detracted from the overall experience.

The family room was spacious, but noisy guests disrupted our sleep.

I had a lovely six-night stay in a Premium King Room with a balcony. The staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive, making for a pleasant experience. The breakfast buffet had great options, but be sure to try the made-to-order items for a treat! I appreciated the proximity to local attractions.
